The new Act governing how notaries work requires an interpreter/translator to be present when a wide range of official deeds are executed. Vertaalservice A-linea has a suitable interpreter for all these occasions, in any language required. We also provide interpreters for conferences, seminars, meetings and company visits.
There are three distinct types of interpreting:
Liaison interpreting: a conversation is translated sentence by sentence from the language of person A into that of person B and vice versa. This is the usual form of interpreting during company visits, negotiations etc.
Consecutive interpreting: during a speech the interpreter makes notes and afterwards gives a faithful rendering of the content. This method is often used for committee meetings and presentations.
Simultaneous interpreting: the interpreter translates while the speaker speaks. At conferences there is usually a specially equipped booth for the purpose. Listeners follow the translation through headphones.
If you’re looking for an interpreter, allow us to provide you with an appropriate quotation!
